The Festival includes competitive heritage dragon boat races for all ages and physical abilities, entertainment, cultural and heritage, and tourism enhancement activities. The Festival has been proven to be a valuable platform reaching out to diverse groups of visitors and tourist across the Country and internationally.
In 2024, as the Festival celebrates its 33rd year, it promises to continue to be one of the most exciting summer events in Toronto. Once again, this year, the Festival will welcome teams and visitors from all provinces across Canada, from the U.S., the Caribbean Islands, Europe and Asia.

Venue – Centre Island, Toronto Islands
The event will take place on Toronto Island. Access via a short ferry ride from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal. The Terminal is located at the foot of Bay Street and Queens Quay, just west of the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel.
