Cabin Fever Reliever - Photo Contest
Feeling cooped up this winter? It’s time to shake off that Cabin Fever. Grab your camera, bundle up, and embark on an adventure in the great outdoors while participating in Aurora’s Cabin Fever Reliever photo contest. From frosty landscapes to winter fun, this is your chance to capture the magic of the season. Submit your best shots by Tuesday, February 11 for a chance to win a prize!
Photo Guidelines
Photo must be taken outside this year (2025).
Up to three photos per person can be submitted.
Subject matter is to be appropriate for all ages.
How to Enter
Submit your photo/s via email with your full name, location and title of photograph/s to Sarah Reynolds by Tuesday, February 11. All submissions, with their title, will be shared on this webpage. Please indicate if you do not wish for your photo to be shared publicly.
Prizes
There will be first and second place prizes in the form of gift cards.

Clay Animal Workshop for Youth
Time: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Cost: $15.00 per person
Unleash your creativity at Aurora's Arctic Adventure! Youth participants are invited to join our hands-on Clay Animal Workshop, where they'll craft up to three adorable clay animals. Whether you're a budding artist or just looking for some creative fun, this workshop is the perfect way to express your imagination and take home your own arctic-inspired creations.

Macrame Workshop for Youth
Time: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Cost: $12.00 per person
Get knotty at Aurora's Arctic Adventure! Youth are invited to join our Macrame Workshop and learn the art of weaving stunning designs with simple knots. Whether you have mastered the art of macrame or it is new to you, this hands-on activity is perfect for all skill levels. Discover your inner artist and take home your handmade masterpiece.

Hot Cocoa and Canvas Painting
Time: 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost: $20.00 per person
At Aurora’s Arctic Adventure Cocoa and Paint Workshop you will get to paint your own masterpiece while being led by an art instructor and sipping on some hot cocoa. All paint and hot cocoa supplies will be provided.
Community Scavenger Hunt
As part of the Arctic Adventure event, enjoy this fun scavenger hunt. There are lots of fun challenges to complete and gain points. This awesome family friendly challenge can be done by families or individuals. Those with the most points will go into a random draw to win gift cards for local businesses. Let the adventures begin! This scavenger hunt runs until February 19, with missions added regularly.
